Show Me A Good Time-- Drake
January to March '10 I was freakishly obsessed with playing the lotto. No, seriously. I played religiously everyday for two months straight. I told myself that if I didn't win by my birthday (March 26th) that it wasn't meant to be. Looking back that whole idea was crazy, because there are people that play everyday for ten years before ever winning. Anyway, sometime's I'd spend $6 to $10 a DAY on just LOTTO TICKETS! As the jackpots increased, my obsession grew. I remember the jackpot reached something like $120million, and yes, I would love to win $120 million (of course taxes will take about 20%) it wasn't so much the money that had me strung out. It was the dream, the doors it would open; everything that I would be able to do if I became the winner. "All you need is a dollar, & a dream" -- That damn slogan got me! It really did.
I'd be able to do things like:
Buy my parents a huge house. 'House stupid dumb big. My room's got room's.'
Pay off my school loans, and tuition for as many years as I wanted to go.
Shop til I freaking drop (come on, would my list be realistic if I didn't?)
These are some of the small things I'd do, but the list gets even more detailed.
Invest in stocks
Open up a franchise.
Become a silent business partner with my best friend (Brent.Tattoo artist, & just about the most talented person I know)
I think if you ask anyone why they want to be rich, it honestly has nothing to do with the money. It's actually the 'idea' of the money. I worked myself up so much about the idea of winning the lotto, that the wait to find out what numbers were drawn, was when I did my dreaming. Winning or not winning the lotto, I AM going to be successful. I HAVE to be, which is why silently I am taking the proper steps to make sure that is possible.(you know how I feel about talking. It's too cheap.)
'Having money isn't everything. Not having it is.'
Yeezy couldn't be more right. I know I don't have money. I'm not one of those people who walk around trying to convey a false image. I know I'm not rich. I have yet to treat myself to Louboutin's, and anyone who knows me, knows how I feel about Loub's. Funny story. One night, during February,I went to a bar, during my lotto trip, with my cousin on Karaoke night. Needless to say, after about 4 drinks, I proceeded to tell the whole bar, when I won the lotto I would be buying everyone red bottoms. But not before telling the bartender when I won, I'd be buying out the bar. So, yes, I have a few expensive things, but for the most part, I buy what I can afford. I don't live outside of my means, because I know that I am in debt with school loans, and I just don't have it like I want right now.So yes, money isn't everything, but it makes a lot of things easier. It will definitely make my closet look ten times better. lol #imjustsayin.

As soon as I make it, those I love make it. I have to work hard, so my loved ones won't have to anymore. I can't wait until I'm in a position to give my parent's all they deserve. To allow my sibling's to come to me with their needs, and so much more. When I make it, I promise we all make it. Work hard now, so you can play later. Remember, do what you HAVE to do NOW.,So you can do what you WANT to do LATER. Stay focused, dedicated, and it will come. Loved one's, I'm getting me together, for ME, and for us all. ♥ you.
